Subject: New Chairman DBC

Dear Members of the Delft Bridge Club (DBC),

Let me tell you something — and people are saying this, very smart people — DBC is a tremendous bridge club. Really tremendous. Possibly the best bridge club in the Netherlands. Maybe even the world. I've seen a lot of bridge clubs. A LOT. None like this.

I know bridge. Believe me. I have an incredible brain for cards. When I look at a hand, I see all four hands instantly. North, South, East, West — BOOM. Total command. People are amazed. World champions call me, they say: "Sir, how do you do it?".

I hear you play in Delft. Beautiful city. Very historic. Lots of bridges — which is fitting, because bridge is about building bridges, right? I've built bridges. The best bridges. Everyone agrees. Strong bridges. Not like the weak bridges you see elsewhere.

I also hear that DBC has recently moved to a new playing location: Peacelandhof.
Very interesting name. Very strong name.

Peace matters. I've always said that. Nobody loves peace more than me. Big peace. Strong peace. And playing bridge in a place literally called Peaceland? That's smart. That's strategic. That's how you make good deals — at the table and off it.

Now, I'm told — by very reliable sources — that DBC is currently looking for a new chairman. And I said: Wow. That's a big moment. Leadership matters. I know leadership better than anyone.

A bridge club without a strong chairman? That's chaos. Total chaos.
People passing when they should bid. People bidding when they should pass. Disasters. Absolute disasters.

DBC deserves a strong, decisive chairman. Someone who bids boldly, protects partner, and never apologizes for a perfectly reasonable overcall. Someone people look at and say: "That's leadership.".

And now — this is very important —
I've heard also something troubling. Very troubling.

In your bidding box, you have SEVEN Notrump bids.

Seven.

Nobody needs seven. Nobody.
I've talked to experts — top experts — and they all say the same thing: "Sir, this is too much Notrump.".

I like No Trump. It's no–color, so I respect No Trump. But seven?
That's excess. That's inflation. That's bad deals.

So here's what I propose — and I'm great at deals:

It's a fantastic deal. DBC wins. Bridge wins. Everybody wins.

As for the chairmanship — people keep asking me:
"Sir, would you consider it?".
Look, I'm very busy. Very busy. But if DBC truly needed me — if the club was in real trouble — I would think about it. Very seriously. Because I care about bridge. Tremendously.

But whoever you choose: choose strength.
No weak passes.
No soft doubles.
No unnecessary Notrump bids.

DBC is a winner club.
And winner clubs deserve winner leadership.

Thank you.

God bless bridge.
God bless DBC.
And God bless… leadership.
And God bless… well, me, frankly.

Very sincerely,
Donald J. Trump

Former President
Master Bidder
Deal–Maker–in–Chief
Future Bridge Legend
(Many people are saying this)

P.S.
If you ever decide to replace one of the Notrump bids with a very strong opening named after a former President, I would be open to discussions. Very open.
